Kolkata: New Zealand Pacer The Southee team has been canceled by Kolkata Knight Riders for the rest of the IPL scheduled to be held in the UAE from September 19.
New Zealand Veteran Pacer will be a substitute for Pat Cummins Australia, which is pulled out of the league because of “personal reasons”.
“Cummins made him not available for the season for personal reasons.
Southee comes with an extensive experience of 305 international matches for Kiwi with 603 goals,” the former KKR first winner announced on Thursday.
Cummins, which was signed for Rs 15.5 Crores for the IPL 2020 season, has been the main member of their side and this season he played all their seven matches, took nine-goal and scored 93 runs, including career-66 of the best not against Chennai.

RCB has brought Wanindu Hasaranga Sri Lanka as a substitute for Adam Zampa Australia.
In the T20i series of three matches recently against India in Sri Lanka, Hasaranga pocketed a total of seven goats, including the transportation of four numbers at the last T20i.

PBKS has signed the Australian Fast Bowler Bowler Nathan Ellis for Riley Meredith.
