Kolkata: All bars, clubs and liquor in this city will remain closed from 5:30 a.m.
on Friday (December 17) to the completion of the KMC selection at around 6 pm on Sunday (December 19).
The sale of liquor at the bar, club and off-shop will also be closed on December 21, Calculation Day.
Nitin Kothari, owner of Peter Cat, Mocambo and Peter Hu!, Said, “My bar will be closed for 48 hours, effectively from 5pm on Friday to Sunday night and again, on the following Tuesday.” Debaditya Chowdhury, MD from Chapter 2, said the bars too, will be closed for 48 hours on weekends and 24 hours on Tuesday, next week.
