Kolkata: Rabindra Sarobar and Sarobar Subhas will avoid Chhath Revelers for the second year in a row.
Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority has decided not to let the Chhath ritual on this lake respect the direction of the Calcutta High Court.

“From Princep Ghat for Ratan Babur Ghat – all Ghats are decked for Chhath Puja.
We are preparing a special platform for worshipers to do their rituals.

KMC Parks and Squares Department identifies ponds and waterbodies located along Em Bypass, Behala, TollyGunge, Jadavpur, Cossipore, Dum Dum.
The TMC Ward Coordinator has been asked to explore the choice of creating an artificial pool in their ward.
