Kolhapur: Many puddles of the Venus Corner area during the Monsun have encouraged a proposal to establish a Bhaktah of the Mahalaxmi Temple (Ambabai) above the parking facility under construction on Jalan Tarabai next to Saraswati Talkies, which is quite close to the temple, not in the ADDA Gadi in Venus Corner.
The proposal for this effect was carried out for the Patil Satej District Guard Minister by Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC).
A Bhakt Niwas will be made by Kolhapur Municipal Corporation under ‘Shri Ambabai Tirthshetra Vikas Arakhada’ and parking facilities at Gadi Adda near Venus Corner has been completed as location.
However, during heavy flooding 2019 and 2021, the area was still flooded for days.
There is a possibility of flooding in the future too.
As a result, Tarabai street parking facilities are being explored as possible locations for Niwas Bhakts.
The KMC has proposed that the first three floors are used for car parking, and four floors above the parking lot for use as a niwas bhakt.
Shivraj Upwde, Secretary of Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti, said, “KMC Bhakt Niwas on Tarabai Street will be useful for worshipers because the location is very close to the place of Mahalaxmi Temple (ambutry).
Even Samiti Devasthan is in the process of making a Makeing Bhak Niwas in the temple area and several locations It has been selected and will be resolved soon.
“The Saraswati Talkies area will be very helpful for worshipers such as the collapse of Lake Chaupati and Mahalaxmi Temple (Ambabai).
The worshipers will be able to walk in this main tourist spot within 2 to 3 minutes.
