KNPW looked at the closure because the college applies to upgrades

Hyderabad: When Kamala Nehru Polytechnic for the name of a woman (KNPW) was lost from the list of state polytechnic colleges in front of the Polycet Polycet-2021), thousands of heart sank.
KNPW – The first female polytechnic in this country – has a large financial constraint and students said their worst fear came true when the name was lost from the list of polytechnic colleges for the 2021-22 academic year released by the Ministry of Education.
While education says this step will put brakes on the aspirations of a number of students, students have vowed to protest any steps to turn it off.
KNPW, the foundation stone was placed by Jawaharlal Nehru, founded in 1961 by the exhibition community.
While the Commissioner for Technical Education Navin Mittal told TII that there was no final decision, he indeed confirmed that universities had submitted an increase in the Engineering Higher Education.
“Yes, universities have submitted an increase in College techniques,” Mittal said.
KNPW students and alumni accused the exhibition community, with the aid of the state, trying to close college and start private engineering colleges in place.
“Polytechnic is the only affordable course for students from the economically weaker part.
When I asked about garment technology courses in private institutions, they said they would cost around Rs 10 to Rs 15 Lakh per year.
Here, I only Spend 10,000,000 per year Diploma from the KNPW.
Reveal the reason for the many choices of these universities for this polytechnic, students say it has all the facilities, the quality of education is good, safe and has hostel facilities too.
“Apart from rich inheritance, campus infrastructure is very good.
Because it is a female college, there is security and parents prefer to send their daughters here,” Induja S said, an architect and alumni.
Induja said that while his sister married very early, he had the opportunity to continue his education when he secured revenue at the KNPW in 2009.
“Alumni recommend this lecture because students will get the best job and have the opportunity to get a job immediately after completing the diploma.
, especially from rural areas come here to do their diploma.
Instead of a scheme like Kalyana Lakshmi or Shaadi Mubarak, the state must continue to run universities such as KNPW, “he added.
The Chairman of the KNPW D Gangadhar Rao said they had made a repeated demand for the Board to continue the service of 39 lecturers.
“Towards Polycet, we will ask again to continue the contract lecturer service and provide acceptance to students on campus,” he said.
