Koban made it low, avoiding in a hurry

JAMSHEDPUR: For the second year in a row, the worshipers witnessed the celebration of Rath Yatra which was muted in various parts of the Kobhan division on Monday.
Maintaining Covid-19 pandemic in mind, the organizing committee observes rituals in a low way with a handful of festive fans, temple volunteers and servants.
The international community for Krishna’s consciousness (Iskcon) -run Jagannath Temple Rath Yatra in Golmuri saw a small group of people who appeared at the Chariot-Pulling event.
“Although, the train movement is limited to a radius of 10 meters in the temple compound, the enthusiasm is the same,” Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Maho, who attended the train pull train event at the Iskcon Temple, said.

Jagannath, looks spectacular while his brothers, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, looks magnificent in their new clothes.
Song of praise and singing ‘Bol Day’ filled the air immediately after Rath rolled the temple compound.
Bathing flower petals on the train decorated impressively, beating drums, singing Bhajan and Kirtan and blowing up at intervals that often change the atmosphere in the temple compound.
“There is no comparison between Rath Yatra now and those who are pre-covid.
This year we have symbolic celebrations but the organizers ensure there is no compromise on the Vedic ritual in observing the festival,” Shankar Agarwal, one of the worshipers who attended Rath Yatra at Beldih dragon’s temple, said.
Jagannath’s temple in the championship also observed the annual ritual by Token following the Covid-19 guidelines.
“Starting from Maha Snan to Netra Utsaav and now Rath Yatra, the ritual is done in a traditional way of gragiose Sans because of the Covid-19 protocol,” Brahmanand Mahapatra, said Imam from the Jagannath Temple in the Chaanyla.
Rath Yatra organizes the Jagannath Temple Committee at Jugsalai’s Rath Gali and Jagannath Temple in typical, among others, observing the Rath Yatra Festival in a simple way.
“The excitement of a festive crowd, Mela and the delicious thing is lost this year.
Hopefully Lord Jagannath to listen to our prayers and make our city free Covid next year, so the festival can be celebrated in a big way in 2022,” said a Sakchi resident, said Rabbi Pradhan.
