Chennai: AIADMK’s opposition on Thursday accused the powerful DMK in Tamil Nadu to pursue Vendetta’s politics and show undue interest in cases related to suspicious theft and death on the Plantation of the Kodanad late Jayaalalithaa.
“When the Kodanad case was in court, the chairman of the MK Stalin Minister said it was part of his party poll promises.
All witnesses in the case of the Kodanad have been examined and only the last session was delayed by the court concerned.
But the DMK shows an undue interest in protecting The defendant and slandered Aiadmk, “said the former joint minister and coordinator with Aidmk Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Palaniswami spoke to reporters after the AIADMK delegation was led by him and the coordinator of the party O Panneraselvam called for the Governor of Banwarilal Purohit.
Former Minister of AIADMK S P Velumani, P Thangamani and D Jayakumar are part of the delegation.
The visit of the AIADMK delegation to Raj Bhavan took place in the background of a series of searches conducted by DVAC at the place of former Minister S P Veumani and M R Vijayabhaskar.
In addition, there is a new focus on investigations into cases related to suspicious theft and death.
Questioning the motive for the DMK government, AIADMK members have announced boycott from the assembly process for two days from Wednesday.
Palaniswami accused false cases being driven by former Minister of AIADMK.
He said the DMK government had tried to distract the people after white paper failed to cut a lot of ice with the people.
EPS also accused that the DMK government was in reporting Covid numbers but would be excessive in the case of Kodanad.
“Instead of focusing on containing covid pandemics, when the country still reports cases above 1,800 per day and with the threat of the third wave, the DMK government focuses on Vendetta’s politics,” he said.
