Cape Town: Star Indian Virat Kohli Dough on Monday Asking Media to keep away from publishing a picture of his daughter Vamika, saying pictures of the baby shown by the announcer during the third odi against South Africa here is the case “caught”.
Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have repeatedly asked the media not to publish photos of toddlers, who were 1 year old.
However, during the third ODI on Sunday when Kohli scored half a century, the cameras directed Sharma, who held his daughter when both of them celebrated the beat.
Within minutes, the video became a viral with #vamika trend on Twitter.
The screenshot of the baby’s face is also distributed widely on social media platforms.
“Hey friends! We realized that our daughter’s picture was arrested at the stadium yesterday and was widely distributed after,” Kohli and Anushka wrote in an Instagram story.
“We want to tell everyone that we are caught wet and don’t know that the camera is on us.
Our attitude and request on the problem remains the same.
We will really appreciate if the Vamika image is not clicked / published for the reason we have explained before.
