New Delhi: Para-Badminton Player Palak Kohli will compete in Single, Double and a double mixture of the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics, the first for Indian shuttlers.
Kohli accepts his BWF invitation to participate in the women’s Singles (SU5) category and in a mixed double SL3-SU5 in Tokyo Paralympics, which opened on August 24.
After eligible for the previous women’s doubles, Kohli became the first Paraga -Shuttler to qualify for a paralympic match on the three events of the Badminton, according to release.
In the SU5 category, players can play stand with upper leg disorders.
The 18-year-old child has made history by becoming the youngest shuttler to qualify for Paralympic matches.
The Badminton made his debut in Paralympics in the Tokyo match.
