Filmmaker Jaran Johar is ready to make a director’s comeback with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s next ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Kahani’.
However, before Covid-19, he had a Multi-Starrer ‘Takht’ project under his current credit he called the ‘passion project’.

Without further updates about film development, ‘takht’ was finally suspended.
However, talking to the entertainment portal, Karan revealed that the film that had a piece of his heart would start shooting only after wrapping ‘Rocky Aur Ranu Ki Kayu’ who was coming.
By asserting that ‘takht’ will be made right after Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh Starrer, KJO shares that the drama period requires a preparation work of almost 2.5 years and is increasingly delayed because of the worldwide pandemic.
“‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Kahani’ is my excitement project but ‘takht’ is my passion project and you cannot escape your desires.
So after I finished with my excitement, I will go to my passion,” he added.

‘Takht’ will be based on the Mughal era.
Stars Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
On the other hand, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ has Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the main role, apart from Alia and Ranveer.
