Kolhapur: The lost boy was found dead; Father’s friend held

Kolhapur: The body of a seven-year-old man was found in a lake in Savarde Budrupa Village in Kagal, Kolhapur, four days after he was missing from his grandfather’s house.
A farmer – a friend of the boy’s father – has been arrested for suspicion of kidnapping and killing the boy.
However, the police will not reveal the motive behind the murder.
Varad Patil went with his father, Ravindra, and Mother to his grandfather’s place for a home heating ceremony in the village on August 17.
Patil also lives in the same village.
Around 8pm, after his functions, Varad lost.
Father, a doctor with a profession, registered a complaint lost with Murgud police.
Farmers, Maruti Vaidya (45), residents of Sonali Village in Kagal, were arrested.
On Friday, a gang gathered in Sonali Village and Savarde Budrup as a rumor of human sacrifice related to the crime.
