Kolkata: The 24-year manager of a premium restaurant allegedly teasing, dragged, and was persecuted by two people on a bicycle in a crowded market area in the new BB bb block on Wednesday night.
The defendant escaped, leaving the woman bleeding from her face, hands and knees on the road.
On Thursday, both, Raju Majumdar (27) and Sobuj Shil (21), both daily workers and residents of the area were arrested.
The police have launched a search for the two-wheeled two wheels while harassing the woman.
The incident occurred when the woman was on her way to her home in Jatragachhi from the office.
The locals saw the woman on the road and attended her wounds before the police from the new city police station took her for medical care.
He filed a complaint with the police on Thursday.
“Both passed the obscene statement to me and harassed me.
When I took my cellphone and started recording the incident video, they chased me,” said the woman on Friday.
