Kolkata: Facing questions from a few qualces about why the parks continued to close most of the day, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Top Brass had requested a park and department box to refrain from locking the neighborhood park after 9am.
“We don’t want to deny their citizens to take a walk or exercise during the day.
From now on, all neighborhood parks will open in the morning and close after dusk.
There will be no limit on entries in the morning or evening,” said a person Civil officials.
“This is the development of welcome.
The park should have never been closed from the start.
But we are happy that the KMC has acted on the request of citizens.
It was a big mistake to close a public park in a crowded city like Kolkata.

Green room closure has been a great concern, with many who show that even though doctors suggest a walk in the park to improve health, KMC and KMDA continues to close parks and lakes.
Some even said the notification of restrictions issued by the state had mentioned amusement parks, but KMC and KMDa had closed the neighborhood park.
What a greater pain point is permission to continue the operation of the mall, theater and pub in the air-conditioned spaces while closing the park.
