Kolkata: Debanjan Deb, was arrested for organizing a fake vaccine camp and posing as an IAS officer, has been sent to police custody for an investigation at the camp he arranged for City College.
The police have searched for their legal team’s nod for imposing efforts to kill costs in this case too, such as in the case of the Kasba fake vaccine camp.
Deb will be in police custody until July 23 and his colleagues until July 16.
“Deb has been charged to try to kill in the case of Kasba Fake Camp.
With that logic, we must slap the same charge for the North City camp,” said an officer.
The police said Deb, who claimed to be a commissioner with KMC, had passed Amikacin Sulphate, an antibiotic, like a covishield at Kasbak Fake Camp.
At City College, he has claimed to provide Covishield and Sputnik V.
Police have confiscated Triamcinolone Acetonide (Nadicort) and they find out if he has passed steroids as sputnik.
Triamcinolone Acetonide (Nadicort) is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatic disorders.
“We must ask him how he succeeded in managing the camp and the role of Indrajit Shaw, his employees,” said an officer.
The police said they would submit a sheet immediately after the forensic report, including bottle content, arrived.
