Kolkata: A fire broke in a warehouse in the Kolkata Ultakanga area on Friday.
“However, no one was injured in a broken fire in the establishment of the East Canal road around 5am,” said a fire department.
Seven fire tenders went to the place and needed more than an hour to extinguish the fire, the official said.
The official added that it had not been ascertained the cause of the flames.
“Fireworks may be caused by electrical short circuit which follows heavy rain the previous day but further investigation is underway, and the cooling process is on,” the officer added.
