Chandigarh: UT Empowerment Committee for Privatization of the Department of Strength Under the leadership of UT adviser Dharam PAL on Monday approved the highest highest electricity bid of Kolkata from RS 817 Crore against the price of RS 174 Crore reserves on Monday.
PAL said the file will be forwarded to UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore for the final approval.
It will be sent to the ministry to nod in the cabinet, he said.
Administration on August 5 has told Punjab and Hanyana High Court that the process of getting the NOD Cabinet will take two-three more months and deliver that challenging petition privatization is privatization.
The High Court has fixed August 26 as the next hearing date in this case.
At the same time Gopal Dutt Joshi, Secretary General, UT Powermen Union, said the union members would observe the attack on Tuesday.
