Kolkata: Flights to UAE are packaged even though ticket prices are high

Kolkata: One-way rates between Kolkata and Dubai have doubled, from Rs 20,000-30,000 to Rs 55.416 after the decision by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to enable them with the permission of the residency and double vaccination to return to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other cities in Emirates.
High rates despite not acting as a reducer because several hundred people are currently stranded in Kolkata and other cities in the east make a hyphen to capture several flights on the radar and return to their family and work.
The prohibition of travel from India was announced on April 22 by the UAE after a Covid case explosion at the second wave height.
With the UAE now relaxing norms for those who have a residence permit, there is a race to return.
“Emirates has scheduled two flights on August 8 and 11.
There is a good demand for both flights,” said the Indian Federation Travel Agency (East) Anil Punjabi.
The airline will operate the configuration of three BOEING B-777-300ER classes.
In addition, Indigo will operate flights on Thursday.
Flydubai, LCC based in the UAE.
Has a flight scheduled for August 13.
The return of flight will also mark the debut for a quick test of PC Covid at Kolkata airport – which has now become a mandatory as part of the protocol flying to the Middle East.
Remembrikan to Dubai requires a Covid-19 test certificate issued within 48 hours between the time of collection of samples and scheduled flight departures, a quick PCR test 4 hours before the departure of PCH reaches Dubai.
Kolkata airport has completed itself with a fast PCR testing kit from Abbott – which can test 80 people in one hour and will cost Rs 4,000 per person.
In Kolkata, the test is being carried out by HLL LifeCare Ltd.
“Following a swab collection, passengers get a report within 15 minutes because the Abbot ID Kit produces results and passengers getting a copy of the test results of their tests with the QR code and also the electronic version in the letter,” said Director of Airport C Pattabhi.
Meanwhile, there is confusion about whether people who have taken vaccine doses in India will be allowed to enter this country.
Airline officials insist that only those who have been fully vaccinated in the UAE before flying to India will be allowed to ride a flight back.
Four vaccines are currently available in the UAE: Sinopharm, Pfizer-Bionth, Sputnik V, and Oxford-Astrazeneca.
