Kolkata: Kolkata police are now starting to rob all commercial companies they find after 9pm.
The police stormed a hookah cafe and bar in Bhowanipore and arrested 10 people from these two companies, collecting them under various parts of the Disaster Management Act and COTP Law.
All police stations are also directed to conduct specific raids to close the restaurant and postal shops 9:00.
Police said the cafes located in Aston Road and Elgin Road were found serving hookah and food until 4am.
“Three Mitra Elgin Road Cafe was arrested.
The three of them are residents of Watgunge Street.
At Aston Road Cafe, we arrested seven, all managers and employees of the cafe,” said a South Division officer.
“A large number of Base and Hookah taste confiscated from both places,” said An officer.
