Kolkata: After MAA and AJC Bose Road Flyovers, from where some accidents – often fatal – involving kite strings have been reported, VIP Road Flyover has turned into a point of problems with the same reason.
On Wednesday, it was bornedu Das (34) suffered a wound on his neck from a kite on the flyover and had to get 10 stitches.
Das, an employee of a private company based in Kolkata, took this flyover to go to and from his Khardah’s house.
On Wednesday, he was on his way home in his bicycle at around 5:45 a.m.
when he felt the slash of his neck and almost fell.
He pared himself and drove 2 km to Charnock Hospital.
“He is very bloody, but the pieces are superficial.
The injury can be sad if he becomes a helmet,” said Charnock Hospital Medicine Medicine Head Nishant Aggarwal.
Police Bidhannagar City have begun to visit Marketplaces in and around Baguiati, Lake Town, Ktopur and the airport to ensure no spoiled Chinese sold.
“During the last three days, we continued to monitor the market,” said an officer.
The police have also taken outreach and visiting high rise around the flyover, asking people to avoid flying kites in the area.
