Kolkata: KMC will continue to keep most of the supply of vaccines for the second dose recipient.
According to a KMC health department official, vaccines for the second dose receiver may exceed 70% from next week.
At the end of Saturday, KMC health officials expressed satisfaction of the enhanced vaccine dose supply in the last three days.
“We have a reason to feel satisfied when because of the increase in the supply of vaccine bottles for the past three days.
We hope to get a supply without interruption for next week too.
If this continues, we will be able to bridge the gap between the first and second dose recipients,” said A KMC Health Service Officer who deals with the vaccine distribution to Komcin Covid Vaccination Clinic (CVC) which took place with vaccination of the numbers, the KMC vaccination center on Saturday continued to get additional dose supplies, compared to it in the last week.
“On Saturday, we send 200 vaccine doses to our vaccination clinic.
We can delete a portion of the second dose backlog by giving around 150 doses to the second dose recipient for the third day in a row,” said the KMC health department official.
Citizenship officials said the supply of vaccines from Swathya Bhawan would remain as good as the last three days of this week.
“On Monday, we will be able to provide around 200 doses to our vaccination clinic.
Hopefully we will get additional supply from Tuesday,” said KMC Health Office officials.
