Kolkata: Mini-truck Transporter (28) was found killed near Judge Bagan close to Bagmari Market at around 6:30 a.m.
on Sunday.
The body was found several hundred meters from his house, hours after he left with several friends to a picnic.
The man, wasped by Prasad, allegedly attacked with sharp objects, and excessive blood loss contributed to his death, police sources said.
Local residents rushed Prasad to RG Kar Hospital where he was declared dead.
Maniktala police have detained five prasad friends to be questioned.
However, other friends are in runaway.
No one was arrested until Monday night.
