Kolkata Metro May Tweak Team Train

Kolkata: Metro Railway can extend the operation of the evening with one or one and a half hours to parties on the puja days.
But according to the calcutta high court limit, the number of services will remain the same.
The train will often occur because services can only start at 10 am and not at 7:30 a.m.
But like last year, there will be no night service because of a pandemic.
Until 2019, Metro Railway runs services until 4 am during the days of Puja Durga.
Just before the puzzle last year, the High Court had ordered not to let the crowd near the Metro Pandal and train metro dropped special services throughout the night between Saptami and Dashami for Pandal-Hoppers.
This year, even when the government of Mamata Banerjee extended the covid sidewalk-19 to 30th, he lifted night at night for the Days of the Puja, and some people hoped that the authorities who run the suitable Lifeline.
But Manoj Joshi, a general manager of the Metro train, told TII on Tuesday, “we can only extend services with 1 hour or one and a half hours, exceed 9.30pm during the days of Puja.
We are working on the details and will share them after completion.
The total number of trains will not increase because we will start late services on this holiday.
“The state government has allowed Metro to the public on weekdays and operators has now increased the weekly train to 266 since Monday.
It was the highest number of services in the time of the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, the total metro fleet was 288.
Even the metro, with 3-lakh passengers, gradually tried to reach his pre-pandemic fleet, the facility seemed to tend to maintain daily 266 services too, to maintain the essence of the limited court limits.
“At the same time, the government has raised hours of night.
So people tend to go to pandal-hopping out at 9:30 p.m.
We must accommodate the soluble crowd tonight,” said a Metro official.
The first Metro train starts at 7:30 a.m.
and the latter leaves the terminal at 9:30 a.m.
Metro can change operating hours and start service at 10 am.
The last train can go at 10pm or 10:30.
Officials said there would be fewer people from the districts who flocked to Kolkata for Pandal Hopping this year because the suburban train service had not been continued.
Only the local train special staff are now running.
Post the second wave, the Metro has emerged as a city public transportation backbone and has also run special staff on Saturdays and Sundays.
Even because this is actually meant for important workers, the authorities have stopped checking ID cards and the public, especially the buyers of pujas, have used most of the special services of this staff.
