Kolkata: NEET holds offline with covid rules in place

Kolkata: After being pushed back several times, NEET was finally detained in physical mode on Sundays under strict Covid safety norms.
Only candidates are permitted to access 48 inspection centers in Kolkata.
This test is held simultaneously throughout the country, with the supervision of strict observers sent by the National Test Agency.
Strict restrictions exist for students, guardians and hosting authorities.
Barricades has been established 100m to 300m from the main entrance of the exam center and circle withdrawn to ensure physical distance.
Guardians are not permitted across the barricade.
No meeting was allowed in front of the center.
Students are allowed to enter from 10:30 a.m., even though the exam starts at 2pm and continues until 5 pm.
The central authorities are instructed not to interact with media people.
A city-based principal said, “We are the CTIT instructors not to reveal anything about the examination.
Everything is monitored by NTA observers and they even regulate security and sanitation.” The test was relieved to be great for students.
Avik Sen from Halihahar went to Salt Lake KV 1 to take the exam.
“I am a student Halangahar Ramprasad Vidyapeth and has scored 74% in my plus-II board exam.
I prepared well for this exam and expect a good ranking,” he said.
Sangeeta Biswas from the barasat said, “The test was postponed because of Covid, but I was glad that we finally took it.
The delay gave us more time to prepare.” Because of the second covid wave, some tests were pushed back by NTA.
More than 1,000 students have sent a written petition to NTA asking that the test was pushed back to October.
But NTA has rejected it.
