Kolkata: The owner of a work iron company was found dead with his throat gap on Saturday.
Tapan Dey Haridevpur might have died because of suicide, police said.
Post-Mortem Report Introduction Confirm the injury caused by itself, said JCP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
Dey’s wife, Indrani, teaching at pre-primary school and her daughter is a student.
“Dey came out of his job and founded his company two years ago.
But the pandemic hit his business and he could not pay GST RS 2 Lakh.
He has borrowed money,” Sharma said.
When Indrani did not get a call from Dey until 11 nights on Friday, he asked his brother to examine him.
“I can see from the window workshop lights.
Around 12:15 a.m., my husband, apurba Hazra, and I went to check and see the fan and turn on the workshop.
We found it carefully in the store room,” said Brother-in-law Indrani Indrani Hazra.
“Police found a severe injury to his throat.
Blood-stained knife located nearby.
The door is closed from inside with wire,” Sharma said.
