Kolkata: Police demanded 660 bikers a day

Kolkata: Police on Friday was charged with 660 two wheels to plying illegally in the city.
Wheels have been responsible for 15 accidents that lead to three deaths and 21 injuries in the past week in Kolkata.
On Thursday alone, there were four accidents.
Kolkata police will launch several on-road training programs from next week for two-wheeled riders.
In the heart of this is a training module that was successfully used in the past two years – the whole focus is to make two-wheeled riders and pedestrians realize blind spots for heavier commercial vehicles such as buses and trucks and ask them to stick to the path.
The target will mainly become a bicycle owner and scooter but cyclists can be included in the list.
Prasestrian Prasestrian Prashant Inamdar recently said, “The focus must be on a law enforcement system, and a penalty system, which will produce good results in the future.
We must look for an out-of-box solution to enforce helmet rules in the city.
The need to look back throughout the problem once again in the interests of larger citizens.
“Police said that they tended to connect with the transportation department of two-wheeled plying.
“We cannot hold a training session in traffic guards because of a pandemic.
However, we can hold several basic classes with the help of the Department of Transportation.
On Friday, a bicycle crashed into the other two-wheeled in Phoolbagan, injuring a woman aged 23 years,” said a woman Senior officer.
In 2019, there were 177 fatal accidents.
In 2020, there were 112 because of the prolonged locking phase.
In 2021, the total fatal accident was established at 125 so far, where 134 people were killed.
