Kolkata police join Ghostbusters to rise above fear will be known

Kolkata: A team of Ghostbusters, who call themselves a supernatural detective (DOS), has joined hands with Kolkata police to launch a ‘rise above fear’ campaign that aims to eliminate unknown fears by providing a rational explanation of unnatural events.
Started in 2010 by the Devraj businessman Sanyal and Professor Suvojyoti Roy Chowdhury to investigate the claims of paranormal activities and find the truth behind the unexplained phenomenon, the core team of Sanyal, his wife Ishita, Mechanical Engineer Anindam Gubta and Ujjal Gupta have tried to eliminate fear of events Spooky.
It was a documentary about their investigation in Dowhill Darjeeling which attracted the attention of Kolkata police and the team received a call from the police headquarters in Lalbazar to explain what they did.
“More than 200 our cases are investigated, more than 99% are cases of mental illness.
The only example when we cannot find a reasonable explanation in Dowhill,” said Sanyal.
One of the first cases handed over by the police was the Jorabagan Traffic Guard ‘Haunted’, which is located in the inheritance building.
During a visit to the traffic guard, additional CP (IV) Tanmoy Roy Chowdhury had learned how a policeman took the transfer quoting a scary experience and the police who lived in the barracks on the second floor often complained about the “ghost presence”.
“Some will wake up at 2am after a knock on their head and the other complained about the weight in the chest as if someone was sitting on them,” said a police officer.
The others said he had seen a child sleep next to him before waking up early.
Ghostbusters visited traffic guards twice – they arrived at 7pm and stayed until 4am, around the time when the experience seemed to happen.
Sanyal alone on the third floor but doesn’t feel anything.
“First, we tried to find normal reasons behind what had happened.
Ghost experience can be psychosomatic or because of the toxic gases or strong electromagnetic radiation.
In this case, it was the last.
There was a telecommunications tower on the roof and the third floor had a degree of radiation High.
We believe this causes sleep disorders and sleep paralysis, which leads to hallucinations, “said Sanyal.
The owner of the nearby Putukbari has now searched for the help of the team to complete the ghost incident at a big house.
