Kolkata: The police finally restored the woman’s cellphone killed with her son at Behala Senpally 10 days ago.
Two siblings Sanjay and Sandep Das, a cousin of women who were killed by Sushmita Mondal, had been arrested.
His son Tamajit has used cellphones in online classes.
The police have also confiscated a motorbike used by the defendant on the day of murder and other articles including bags used to carry a booty of the victim’s residence.
They are sent to forensic laboratories for collecting analysis and evidence.
“Susmita cellphones are restored close to the murder,” said CP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
“Initially, the defendant wanted to take the phone with them.
But then they thought it could be used to track it.
So, they threw a telephone while going after a crime,” Sharma added.
The police said Sanjay had planned the murder to put his hand on the golden woman when he was financially emphasized.
“He was hired at the Department Store at Esplanade as a CCTV Maintenance Staff.
He married his stepson and was burdened with the debt of Rs 3 Lakh.
He asked Rs 5,000 as a loan from the woman, who asked him not to reveal it to anyone.
But he told his mother.
