Kolkata: The selection of exams or pre-board tests at Cisce School may not occur in November as before.
Students may also have to let go of the long study leave they will get after the selection test ends in December before the winter holiday.
City schools held a meeting with the teacher on Thursday to discuss the first semester time table announced by the council for an Indian school certificate check on Wednesday.
For ICSE students, the exam will be 22 days long, while for ISC students, it will be a business all months.
The school said that traditionally the entire November was used to complete the syllabus but this time, the semester exam would block those days.
In addition, because none of the second semester syllabus can be taught before the first semester test completion, teaching to this will only begin for several days before the winter holidays and then in January.
Most of the schools have decided that there will be no research, this time leave in January and February since the second semester syllabus will be completed later and other selection examinations must also be held as a pre-semester exam for the second semester.
“We feel comfortable with the first part of the syllabus for the first semester but the second part will be a challenge.
Our choice of choice cannot occur in December and we will not be closed to study leave before winter breaks for annual students,” Jessica Gomes said Surana, Loreto’s headmaster simultaneously.
The meeting with the subject coordinator was held by the acting principal of La Martiniere for boys, John Stephen, on Thursday.
“We have canceled our original November selection test and treated our half-annual exam, which will begin on September 16, as pre-semester one for the first semester of November.
We will hold another pre-semester exam before the second semester in March-April .
Students cannot be given the old study away as before, “he said.
“We have held a meeting with the teacher and found that regardless of the cancellation of time studies and negotiations with the original pre-board schedule, not much needed,” said Ian Myers, head of the Public School of Frank Anthony.
