Kolkata: A teenager riding a bicycle without a helmet was killed and two other people riding a pilot seriously injured in an accident near Park Street-Loudon Street across around 3:30 a.m.
on Tuesday.
The police said the children came out with Joyride when they lost control and fell.
The driver who died, SM Mujammil Ghaus (19), was a resident of Syed Ahmed Road simultaneously.
The other two on bicycles are MD Hassan (19), residents of Chatubabu Lane, and MD Adil (21), residents of Beniaperkuk.
They were accepted at CNMC hospitals with several injuries.
This is the third accident in three days.
All of them have occurred during the night limitation when vehicles other than those who have important services and emergency requirements are prohibited.
After the accident, the Top Brass police called for the use of CCTV cameras in more locations and then the perpetrators of Challan.
Lalbazar has formed a special RAID team for post patrol 11 PM and NAB motorbike riders.
“All the Nakas and Watch City teams we were asked to look for riders like that,” said an officer.
