Kolkata: The autorickshaw driver that was soaked in blood was found in the non-city region of the city on Sunday, triggering protests by local residents who harm Hooch’s nest around him.
However, a police officer did not confirm the existence of a bottle or anything near the body of Jana.
Officers said Bisang Jana, around 30 years old, was found to lie dead with her head crashing into a lonely plot in the Anandapur police station on Sunday morning.
The body also bears some inside cuts.
One person had been detained in connection with the incident, the officer said.
Alleges that Jana was killed by bad people who often visited Hooch Den in the area, their families and neighbors from the nearby slums harmed the store.
They claim botors and broken liquor are found near the body.
However, the police did not confirm the existence of bottles or anything near Jana’s body.
“Every night, criminals gather in this place, drink openly and we feel scared.
Often jumping out.
We will not let Hooch like that in this region again,” said Basabi Das.
