Kolkata: The cabin asks BCCI to allow fans for T20IS

Kolkata: Cricket Association Bengal has asked the control council for Cricket in India to allow spectators to three international T20 between India and West Indies to be held at The Eden Gardens here next week.
The APEX taxi board told the members after the meeting on Thursday that the BCCI reply was awaited.
The match will be held on February 16 and 20.
Given that BCCI President Ganguly said that the audience would not be permitted, with the board adopting the first safety approach.
Ganguly’s clarification has come after the President of the taxi Avishek Dalmiya has expressed a desire to regulate the same way as the state cricket body has been carried out during the new Indian-Zealand match here last year, when the audience was allowed to attend.
Dalmiya has made a statement after the state government has opened 75 percent of sports facilities, including the participation of the audience, after swimming in the case of Covid-19.
Incidentally, Ahmedabad is currently hosting Odis against West Indies behind closed doors.
Another decision at the Apex Board Meeting: 1.
The decision to renovate the Approved Eden Garden spotlight system.
2.
Equipment and rules for league tournaments approved.
3.
The registration window for players is extended until February 28.
4.
Proposal to start the university tournament.
