Kolkata: A 30-year-old Portable Traffic Police founded a barricade for nightstand reportedly carried out by the truck on Thursday night.
SK MD Nasiruddin, attached to Jorabagan traffic guards, served at MG Road-Central Avenue who was busy passing when the incident took place at 9.59 afternoon.
The police have slapped the guilty murder case who did not number murder and arrested the Nepal Yadav truck driver (29), a resident of Mamanpur in Bihar.
Yadav claimed he did not see the police stand at the zebra intersection.
CCTV recordings and witness accounts revealed the truck came from the wayrah side.
“Nasiruddin received a serious head injury and was declared dead at the Medical College Hospital,” said an officer.
DC (traffic) Arijit Sinha said that the fatal troops of traffic police will investigate this case.
