Kolkata: Trader in ‘financial crisis’ found hanging

Kolkata: A 51-year-old trader, who has an iron smelting unit in Kolkata’s southern suburban, reportedly died of suicide at Bijojewelry’s house on Sunday.
The police said the man, Debiprasad Aich, had several reasons to take extreme steps.
He was found hung by his daughter.
He was taken to the Baghajatin State General Hospital where he was declared dead.
“The Aich family told us that he was shaken in the financial crisis since the Kuncian.
He has taken a loan for his daughter’s education but cannot pay it,” said DC (SSD) Rashid Munir Khan.
In another incident, a 45-year-old woman was found dead in her flat on the new Bikramgarh Golf Green on Sunday.
The police suspected Pali Pandey, who suffered from various diseases, died at natural death.
“He was declared dead at the KPC Hospital,” police said.
