KOLKATA: The very first weekend following comfort was be quite a mixed bag to its pub and restaurant market.
Some did brisk business while to get some it was mild as climate played spoilsport in certain areas of the town.
The bars and restaurants have been closed to 45 days from May 1 and reopened on June 16 after relaxations.
Hotel and Restaurant Association of Eastern India president Sudesh Poddar pointed out as a whole, both the pubs and restaurants in town have done great company.
“If this tendency continues, the hospitality sector will bounce back shortly,” he further added.
