Kolkata: With quarantine protocols at home for international travelers who have changed, the State Health Department will now track all leaflets who arrive from any international destination.
Previously, the bound leaflets only arrived from the ‘risk’ country placed in the quarantine of a house of seven days even if they were tested negatively to Covid on arrival.
With the Omicron case soaring, this protocol has been expanded to all international tourists who arrived in the city.
“The list of such passengers is shared with the Ministry of Health.
This department shares the name, local address, and other relevant details of travelers with the local police station and civil bodies that will track it.
This is the same model followed for travelers who come from countries.
The country is ‘at risk’, “said the source of the Ministry of Health.
These leaflets will undergo a RPCR test on eighth day.
The Ministry of Health will get a warning about their Covid status and take appropriate action.
Many have been tested negatively on arrival have changed positively during isolation seven days.
