KOLKATA: A youthful teenage student of public policy in King’s College London needed to return to the city when campus closed since of Covid.
In between his on line courses, Arvind Kumar realised his grandma wanted someone to take essentials into her since she had been home jumped in the middle of this pandemic.
He realised this, like his grandma, there were countless seniors who wanted assistance.
So began Cycle Soldiers, a group of students and young practitioners that are spending some time between online courses and work-from-hometo take essentials to individuals on bicycles.
Arvind had submitted a petition on social networking platforms for volunteers.
In days, an army of childhood was prepared.
Be it drugs, supermarket store, vegetable or another desire, you only need to call some of those eight volunteers and inform them where to purchase out and how much is required.

Permissions are procured from most police stations in south Kolkata.
“The officers-in-charge were useful.
We began using all the Rabindra Sarobar police station at which OC Jayanta Mukherjee had been the very first to provide us consent,” said Arvind.
