KOTA: A guy murdered his wife to death with the axe after a brawl at Bhatapada region under Rampura town police station on Tuesday night.
Then he dragged her body 70-80 metres over the road, harbouring dread and terror throughout the region.
The two 9-month-old child was injured in the assault and succumbed to accidents during therapy at a hospital Wednesday.
The accused, who fled after committing the offense, afterwards surrendered.
Pintu, alias Sunil Valmiki, murdered his wife Seema (35) having an axe in his home Tuesday, DSP and CO of this region Ramkalyan said.
Sunil then hauled his wife for around 70-80 metres over the road and left it in a location when folks came from the homes, he further added.
After a complaint regarding the episode, police reached the spot and recovered the body and delivered into a mortuary to get post-mortem, he also added.
The two child, Avinash, that sustained severe injuries in the assault, succumbed during therapy at a hospital Wednesday, the CO stated.
The rationale behind the murder is yet to be probed.
Sources said Sunil murdered his wife following a brawl.
First evaluation revealed the couple had been wed about 15 decades back and also had two sons, 1 9 years old along with a toddler.
According to authorities, the couple wasn’t on great conditions for the past couple of years and the girl had been her brother’s home on Tuesday afternoon after her husband touched there and introduced his wife along with the younger boy with him into his home at Bhatapada, Rampura SHO Hansraj Meena stated.
The accused person was a daily wage laborer and has been an occasional user of liquor and wasn’t drunken at the right time of crime on Tuesday late night, he said.
“After initial evaluation, Pintu was arrested for the murder.
The accused attained the town police station following the offense on Tuesday day and confessed to the offense after which he was arrested,” Kota town SP Vikas Pathak stated.
The accused contains five criminal cases against him which included rape, rape, assault and possession of prohibited weapons,” he added.
