Kotpur Assault Case: Minority Commission Send Notification to Police

Kanpur: The Minority National Commission on Friday took Suo Motu’s awareness for Wednesday’s attack on a 45-year-old man in the city and sent a notification to the police commissioner, stating that the incident had “injured Muslim community sentiments”.
Meanwhile, the three men who were arrested on this matter on Thursday night were released with a guarantee on Friday.

“What actions have been taken against the police whose attendance were beaten,” Commission asked.
Also, the Commission said that because of the incident, the rights of the victim’s child had been violated, and asked whether the child’s mental and physical conditions were evaluated after this incident.
“If so, detailed reports can be equipped in this matter,” added the commission.
It then asked if the child’s statement was recorded.
“The same video clip might also be equipped,” he said further.
Meanwhile, three people, who were arrested on Thursday night for allegedly attacked the 45-year-old man, accused him of indulging religious repentance in the Barra City region, released on a guarantee on Friday.
“Three accused, Ajay Rajesh, safe Gupta and Rahul Kumar, booked under Section 147, 323, 504 and 506 IPC after complaints by victims of Afmed Ahmed, have been released in a bail,” said Inspector Barra Harmet Singh.
He added, “Because all parts of the IPC were in the sense of less than seven years, the three defendants had been given a guarantee from the police station itself.” On Friday, the National President of the Jamajwadi Party and former Minister of Chief Akhilesh Yadav condemned the incident “from beating innocent young men for BJP’s encouragement”.
“Such incidents are embarrassing for democracy.
The law and order is completely destroyed in the state,” he added.
The Minority State Commission also expressed displeasure and wrote a letter to the police commissioner who asked to reply in three days, and registered a case and took strict action, in addition to providing security protection to a disadvantaged family.
To remember, the video clip that disturbed the incident showed that the little man’s daughter cried and tried to stick to her and begged for mercy from a horde of burners, going viral on social media on Thursday.
Then, the police saved the man and took him to the police station.
Police said that the three were accused of being captured late Thursday in connection with the incident of Wednesday night attack and Ahmed Ahmed’s insults, an e-rickshaw driver.
Barra police have filed firs against a local man, who carried out the bandred, his son and about 10 unknown people based on complaints by Afmed Ahmed.
“Among other things, Ajay aka Rajesh Bandwala, Safe Gupta and Rahul Kumar were arrested,” police said.
Meanwhile, in protest against the arrest of three people, local activists reached the South Office DCP at night and sat in Dharna.
Officials assured them about a fair investigation after they left.

Then, the video of the incident also became viral.
DCP South Raveena Tyagi then visited Afsar Ahmed’s house and met her daughter.
