Chennai: Chairman of the Minister of Nadu Tamil M St Stalin on Monday inaugurated Sebebebang 1.15 km in Koyambedu and one arm of velachery blankets.
Chennai’s new flyover was built by the state highway department.
The highway department began building the Koyambedu flyover in 2015 and should be opened for public use in 2018.
It was delayed due to the issue of land acquisition.
It was built at Rs.93.5 Crore.
The Velachery Flyover, built at Rs 67 Crore, connects Taramani by bypass Velachery.
This is also delayed at least three years.

More than three lakh vehicles are expected to benefit from these roads.
