Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC is ready to start service between countries to Karnataka from 12 July so neighboring countries agree to it, said the Minister of Transportation Kerala Antony Raju on Wednesday.
The minister said the state government had told the Karnataka government that Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) was ready to continue the service between the two considering some relaxation of covid restrictions in the state, a press statement said.
“We are waiting for a reply from the Karnataka Government.
Ticket booking for this service can only be done after receiving a reply from Karnataka,” he said in the statement.
The service will run limited way through Kozhikode-Kasilagod depending on the needs of the passengers, he said and added that the bus will be operated in full compliance with the Covid protocol.
After the service between the two countries continued, Karnataka Road Corporation will operate the bus on the same route, the Minister said.
Services between Palakkad and Salem will not begin now because the Tamil Nadu government has not given permission, he added.
