Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala state road transport company (KSRTC) will establish its initial LNG bus ceremony on Monday by Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam.
The liquefied natural gas powered bus support has been launched as a member of their company’s attempts to convert 400 gas trucks into gas.
Transportation ministry Antony Raju will flag off the initial service from Thiruvananthapuram on Monday at 12 noon.
The daily providers will be between Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam, and also away from Ernakulam to Kozhikode.
The normal service will run from Thiruvananthapuram in 2pm and will hit Ernakulam at 8:15pm.
The return ceremony will begin at 5am and can get to the state funds at 11:15am.
Still another support from Ernakulam will begin at 6:30am and can hit Kozhikode in 12:30pm.
The return ceremony will begin at 2:30pm and then hit Ernakulam in 8:20pm.
For those services, two suburban buses have been given over to KSRTC from the Petronet LNG Ltd..
KSRTC has chosen to convert the current gas buses into LNG and CNG buses.
It’s projected that a bus may cost approximately Rs 5 lakh to be switched into LNG.
