The command, who arrived in Gujarat from Kabul, went to New Delhi by road.
They are expected to stay there for a month, complete formalities and then travel to Karnataka.
In Baaganur Gadag Village, Ravi Nilagar’s family had been happy to learn back their son back from Afghanistan.
Nilagar has become a police officer with ITBP for 13 years.
His mother Neelavva, Yelvva wife and Son Santosh, who were in Hulkoti Village, stated the joy when video calls with him from Delhi on Saturday.
