Of the 3,359 phC in the state, the Ministry of Health will take work at 750 PHC in the first phase.
The department has directed all district administration to submit the details of the PHC to take the work.
Dr.
KV Trilok Chandra, Commissioner, Department of Family Welfare Welfare, said that all districts have been directed to submit a list of 25 PHC to improve, and each PHC will be developed at a cost of Rs 20 Lakh.
“The target is set to complete the development and enhancement of PHC in two months, then another PHC will be increased,” he said.
‘It is very necessary to’ Mahesh ChikkaveMath, President, Kunnur Gram Panchayat in Shiggaon Taluk, said the development and improvement of PHC is the need for hours.
“During an emergency, we took patients to the health care center, Tadas PHON established in the village.
With the absence of adequate facilities, doctors refer patients to Tadas PHC, which also does not have many facilities like that.
Then we shift the patient to the hospital KIMS, “he said.
Ramesh Kadam, a resident of Kalghatigi Taluk said, “There is a need for the laboratory in all PHCs, along with facilities to attend 24×7 emergency patients.
In the villages of dog bites, snake bite and scorpion bites often occur.
But because of the unavailability of doctors and other facilities , people find it difficult to get medical help on time.
At the top of Covid, people are afraid of approaching Taluk Hospitals and other hospitals who are afraid of viral exposure.
Because of the unavailability of facilities in PHC, patients are forced to visit KimS Hospital.
