Bengaluru: The state government has issued an advisor who urges residents to delay the trip to neighboring countries, emergency restrictions, until the end of October to prevent the potential of the third covid wave in Karnataka.
Kerala reported 25,772 fresh covid infections and 189 deaths on Tuesday, compared with 851 cases and 15 deaths in Karnataka.
The size has been taken to curb the spread of infection amid the opening of the school and the concerns of the upcoming third wave, especially during the festival season.
Issued an advisor on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Families have directed all educational institutions, companies, hotels, factories, industries and hospitals in the state to instruct students who have not returned to Karnataka from Kerala to delay their return to October-end .
