K’taka cm basavaraj bommai put aside locking for now

Bengaluru: The state government tends to continue with curfews outside of January 7 after the increasing Covid-19 case and the threat of omicron variants.
It also considers more detention steps to control the spread of coronavirus.
The final decision about the sidewalk will be taken by the State Cabinet on Thursday.
Before that, on Wednesday, Chairman of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai will hold a consultation with members of the Covid-19 State Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
“We monitor the situation of the pandemic and the spread of Omicron,” Bommai said on Monday.
