K’Taka considered the policy to undermine illegal religious structures

Bengaluru: Caught between applying the APEX and political court orders for the razing of illegal temples in MySuru, the BJP government suddenly stopped the demolition of more than 6,300 illegal temples in the state, mosque and the church.
In the control-damage movement, the government is now pondering a new mechanism to undermine the structure of illegal religion and plans to appeal in the High Court to find more time to come out with the policy.
Also plans to establish a special committee to see the relocation and regularization of illegal temples based on SC orders.
“This will be one of the main agendas during the upcoming cabinet meeting, it is likely to be held on Monday,” said a senior Muzrai department official.
The government plans to announce compensation for building houses destroyed in Nanjiud.
By doing that, CM Basavaraj Bommai, who continued to fight internal battles at the party, wanted to make the Sangh Parivar happy as it was said to be annoyed by the decision to undermine the temple.
He also hoped to buy time because he did not want this problem lingering before the local body polls that would lead to assembly polls in 2023.
However, activists, worried about the consequences of the descendants of the state government.
“Bommai must take a signal from his partner Yogi Adyityanath and order the elimination of all religious structures that violate on public roads,” said BM Shiva Kumar, a social activist.
The government led by Adityanath initiated a trip in March to clean up about 40,000 illegal temples through the election of just a few months, following the direction of the Allahabad High Court.
“When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was Gujarat CM, he had also moved many temples bordering on the road, where he had to face the opposition from the Sangh Parivar organization.
It’s time for Bommai to follow,” said Social Activist G Janardhana.
The elimination of illegal religious structures began many years after the SC 2009 command.
The High Court attracted the Secretary of the Government of the Government in particular – because it did not act by order for many years.
It asked CS to submit a report taken regularly and he fired a letter to the DC to start the drive.
“Most illegal temples here are very old and people flock.
Although illegal, every action taken against them may be a snowball to legal and order problems.
Dialogue must begin with the trustee or temple manager and the local residents before destroying them, “said a senior minister.
