Bengaluru: With the Covid-19 Daily case in the state fell below 300, the Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has recommended that the government further reduce the daily test for infection to 60,000 of the 1.1 lakh today.
The health department of health and family families decided to implement recommendations and release round with that effect on Monday.
Under the revised target, Bengaluru Urban (including BBMP) must carry out 30,000 tests a day.
Circular also states that 50% of the tests need to be carried out at the district headquarters and the rest in other parts of the district, while 5% of the tests every week must be in randomly chosen children over 12 years.

Arundhathi Chandrashekar, Nodal Officer for Covid-19 testing, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Karnataka, State 20% of all tests must go through a fast antigen method.
“At present, the test level of tests among school children is 0.1%.
Regular tests must be made to school students,” he said.
Mandasa coiled that if the level of prospective among children is 1% or more a week, then related classrooms will be closed for seven days, the school cleanses and contacts infected students tested.
Classes can be reopened after contact infected with negative student tests on the seventh day.
Dr MK Sudarshan, Chairperson, TAC, said the test level of the test remained stable at less than 0.4% in the state for more than a month now.
“Although there is crowding for social and cultural events, there has been no increase in Covid-19 cases.
It is also wise to save resources,” Dr.
Sudarshan said.
In addition, because the case has fallen, the number of contacts testing positively also naturally refused, he said.
However, he said, TAC will oversee the level of participants and will advise the appropriate government.
Meanwhile, officials said there was rigid resistance between public testing for Covid-19, although those who had symptoms must be subject to testing.
