K’taka farmers sell millet sacks containing wife jewelry

Mandya: Kallegowda, a resident of Kallinathapura in Nagamangala Taluk in the Mandya District, has sold a hot millet to a trader, not aware that his wife, Lakshmamma, has used it as a safe box for jewelry.
Fortunately, his wife, Lakshmamma did not need to regret his decision during a shocking change, the ornament found his way back to him.
Lakshmamma had kept his golden jewelry in a hot millet when he went to Bengaluru to visit his daughter.
He is sure it is a safe place to keep his jewelry, where the thief will not think of looking for.
However, Lakshmamma did not tell her husband about hiding jewelry in a sack.
When his wife was in Bengaluru, Kallegowda sold a millet sack to the broker, which, after failing to find buyers for plants in neighboring villages, selling it to a rice plant in Basarealu in the Mandya district.
It was a worker at a factory that found a bag containing ornaments, along with bills for their purchases.
The workers immediately told Timmegowda factory owners, who could contact the jewelry shop owner where ornaments had been purchased.
He bought information about the Kallegowda address of the store, and after ensuring that Lakshmamma was the owner of a legitimate ornament, restore his treasure.
