K’Taka: ‘Hompon must begin caring for non-COV patients’

Bengaluru: Now the number of fresh-19 fresh fresh infections has declined, all hospitals must begin to provide non-Covid health services as well, the Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has recommended to the government.
In this recent report to the government, TAC stated, “Despite a decrease in new cases, there is no certainty that the pandemic is likely to end soon.
Therefore, to ensure the patient does not face difficulties, TAC after maturity is recommended that all houses are advised Pain in the state, both the government and personal, must further make arrangements to provide Covid and non-Covid services every day and sustainable.
“The expert panel said non-covid services should not be rejected at any hospital in any circumstances.
“Also, those who need emergency medical services that save people are experiencing a covid test, but they should not be rejected by the service, also should not be postponed,” the 154th TAC report rang.
A TAC member advised people to learn to live with a virus since “Covid-19 is here to stay”.
“There is a need to ensure that a patient who suffers from liver, kidneys, cancer or other disorders and has also been contracted by Covid-19, must be treated for viral infections and primary diseases also in the same hospital,” said the member.
“In the third wave, Covid-19 is an incidental finding in most cases even though they have no symptoms.” Committee members said that in the third wave, many hospitals referred to infected people to assign Covid-19 hospitals, which have limitations in treating patients for non-covid health problems.
“The main government hospital in Bengaluru only recognizes people with diseases such as influenza and severe acute respiratory disease, even though they have the expertise to treat chest disease,” said a TAC member.
“This hospital still refers to Covid-19 cases to another hospital.
It only makes patients move from a hospital to another hospital.” Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research has fought trends and treating heart patients for Covid-19 too in their place.
“Exactly from the start of the pandemic, two of our seven Icuses have been provided for heart patients with Covid contracts,” said Dr.
CN Manjunath, Director of the Institute and Member of the State Clinical Expert Committee.
“We treat them for Covid and for their heart disease too.
What needs to be a practice everywhere.” TAC members quoted kidney patients who were sent to the designated Covid Hospital even though many of these hospitals did not have dialysis facilities.
TAC members say similar problems are likely to appear in the future too.
They show that, in many cases, covid is an incidental and forward finding, all hospitals must be able to handle patients who test positive covid themselves.
“If the designated Covid hospital does not have facilities to treat non-covid diseases, then patients should not experience suffering because they do not have access to treatment for their main disease.
Patients may not die with Covid, but incite comorbidity and lack of treatment for disease Primary may claim his life, “said a doctor from the designated Covid Hospital.
