Bengaluru: Karnataka recorded a percentage of graduating from 99.96 in the CBSE Clast 10 exam this year, the results were announced on Tuesday.
The score reflects a real increase of 98.23% last year.
Of the 62,529 students who appeared for the exam, 62,503 cleaned it, leaving only 26 students to take a repeat test.
While the Bengaluru region was in second place in the country behind Thiruvananthapuram, which scored 99.99%, Karnataka was ranked 12th among America.
Great countries that have recorded better results are Tamil Nadu (100%), Andhra Pradesh (100%) and Telangana (99.99%).
In the Bengaluru area, which only consists of Karnataka, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Tibet Schools increase their score to get Centum results.
Independent schools increased the results from 98.06% to 99.95%.
Last year, around 9.8% of students have more than 90% value and 2.2% have more than 95% nationally.
This year, 9.6% and 2.8% have secured a sign in this bracket.
The 10th grade test was canceled due to a pandemic.
Instead, the assessment was carried out for 80 marks based on the test unit (10 signs), medium-term examinations (30 marks) and pre-board (40 marks).
Because of school closure, many of them do this assessment online.
Students who are not happy with the results can take the exam which will be carried out between August 16 and September 15.
The date will be announced soon.
Detailed processes for dispute resolution will also be announced if there are candidates who have problems.
‘Happy’many students students in the city print centums in several subjects.
Two students from Deens Academy – Aditi Ponnammal and Priyamvada Bangre Praveen – scored 99.8%, only losing a sign of a total of 500.
“Students are happy.
There are a phenomenal number of Senum in different subjects.
Practically, 60% of the batch has been Guaranteed above 90%, “said Shanthi Menon, Principal, Deens Academy.
Agree Jyothi Menon, Principal, Ekya School ITPL: “There is a significant increase in the number of students who scored above 90%.
Overall, the performance of all students is good.” The calculation properties make a difference, remember somehow, some other schools are different.
“While the school average was 93% last year, it fell to 87% this time.
This is largely because the teacher has been strict in evaluating pre-board papers.
However, many students have been able to reach the Centum,” said M Srinivasan, founder, INNOVATIVE GEAR INTERNATIONAL.
“While the overall results remain high this time – 498 of 549 our students achieved differences – we saw scores in basic mathematics yet as much as possible because of the nature of calculations.
While the average is 87% in other subjects, it is 77% for basic mathematics , “said Manju Balalasubramaniam, Principal, DPS North.
Many schools say students and teachers show resilience despite pandemic.
“Year 2020-21 has been difficult for all academic brotherhood.
From a virtual class to a unique evaluation criteria, teachers and students experience many uncertain events.
Apart from all these challenges, students show great resistance,” said Ashwani Kumar Saxena, Global Principal Indian International (GIIS) Whitefield.
